The other day Karl informed me that there is a house for sale right next to his parents'. It has a good chunk of land and he can't imagine it's more than $450,000. If you're not from these parts, that's what we call "reasonable."
He informed me that the highway noise shouldn't be a problem unless we actually spend any time outside.
This is the same guy that tried to talk me into a $400,000 house right beside the airport.
Forget for a second that we can't afford to buy a house.
Airport? Highway? Next to the inlaws? From one mother to another?
My husband has a really good sense of humour.
