Ho Humming.

So this is it. This is me, bored out of my tree, blogging for no reason. Working really does comes in waves and right now it seems to be low tide. And it's lowwwww...

Friday was a pretty long and painful day but somehow yesterday managed to outdo it. I spent my morning doing absolutely nothing. Nothing. I didn't stare out the window drooling but I was about as productive. I know sometimes people have a hard time wrapping their heads around how I can literally have nothing to do at work but trust me, it's been that kind of a week. I spent my morning checking out stuff like this online. And trying to decide if Karl would let me put these or this or maybe even this on his car (and whether it's worth it to get this for my car).

What I really want to be doing right now is knitting and listening to The Goblet of Fire because I feel like it would be much more productive. I guess that's why they call it work, though. You can't do whatever you want, you just have to play Scrabble at your desk instead. Hard life, I know.

I would also settle for doing some yoga in  the space in front of my desk. I haven't been for a week now, having skipped on Saturday to buy Value Village pants and dream about cake, won't be going tonight, and probably won't make it this weekend either due to an abundance of baseball I need to actively watch/scorekeep for in the rain. I may cave and take a yoga break anyway. I bet Douglas would love to see me doing downward dog through the big windows. The only problem is that my shoes are pretty slippery and I feel like taking them off at work is a little weird. Otherwise I'd totally be doing some bow, pigeon, tree, and bridge poses. All at once.

But shoot, going barefoot at work is kind of creepy and inappropriate.

So I'll just sit at my desk, playing Scrabble and writing daily blog posts until I either run out of things to say or get a work load. Clearly people are liking the increase in blogging, though. My blog got 17 hits yesterday and none of them were from me. Yeah, I'm popular and verging on viral.

I guess I could tell you about last night's cooking adventures but it'll have to wait. I'll just say that I was a dinner making/baking machine last night and created four (!) edible things. Aw yeah. So stay tuned!
